Despite the sub-zero temperatures the Bridle Christmas Bonanza on the 28th December for the league game against Macclesfield is really hotting up with the subsidised tickets selling like hot cakes!
Bridle’s Darren Nangle told Bridle News: “The Bridle Christmas Bonanza is really taking shape with stilt walkers, silver bands, roller skating Christmas puddings (pictured left) and footballs, human statues, jazz bands and fire eaters having already confirmed. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Oxfordshire community for really getting behind the event, I’m sure it’s going to be a memorable day”.
In addition to all the fun on and around the pitch, Bridle’s corporate box will be given to a local charitable organisation for the day that will enjoy the luxury of watching the match in the warm having been well fed and watered with shirts provided for the children and an appearance from a U’s player and a few special extras.

Darren went onto say: “Oxford United have really given us a free hand to use our imagination and get the whole community involved and we should have more announcements shortly. We have also suggested to manager Chris Wilder that he plays a goalkeeper and ten attackers on the day to guarantee lots of goals but we have yet to hear back from him”!
Fans who buy for this game and the New Year’s day home fixture with Southend at the same time go into the draw to win a once in a lifetime experience. Join Chris Wilder and the team at training, travel on the team bus to an away game, and win two flights anywhere in the world with Virgin Atlantic.

The game promises to be a real Christmas cracker - stay tuned for further up dates!
