Following the recent announcement that Buildbase have decided not to continue their main sponsorship with the club, United Chairman Kelvin Thomas has moved quickly to secure their replacement.
Bridle Insurance, a name that should already be familiar to United supporters through their current advertising and promotions with the club, were delighted to receive an approach and took little persuasion in agreeing to become the U's new main sponsor.
Neil Fox, Bridle's Chief Operations Officer says "firstly we would all like to acknowledge the marvellous support the club has received from Buildbase over the past ten years and as the club's new sponsors we are delighted for Buildbase that they were able to finish on such a high with the Wembley win and a return to the Football League. Looking forward, we were very pleased to hear from Kelvin as it was an easy decision to increase our involvement with the club. Oxford United is a massive part of the community and is a well run, professional family club that we are all very proud and excited to be associated with. We have already made many friends from staff, players and supporters alike and are enthused at the prospect of forming a long and strong relationship with Oxford United Football Club. We are very keen to play as large a part as possible in helping Oxford climb up the Football League."
Bridle Insurance - with origins back to 1969 - has grown steadily over the last 40 years and is now a multi-million pound business serving customers from all corners of the British Isles. Although relatively new to Oxfordshire, with roots in Hampshire and Dorset, Bridle has a fast growing local presence, helped by many Oxford United Supporters.
