BRIDLE ACQUIRE SOUTHAMPTON INSURANCE SERVICES

The successful purchase of Southampton Insurance Services rounds off a busy few weeks for Bridle Insurance following the recent acquisition of both Abbot Insurance and AHS Insurance.

Southampton Insurance Services, also known as SIS and Simple Insurance Solutions, have offices within the Southampton Football Club complex at St Mary's and have been acquired in another six figure deal that will add thousands more extra clients to the Bridle Group.

Current Managing Director Phil Shephard and his complete team will relocate to Bridle's Southampton Centre and will complement our impressive and expanding presence along the South Coast.

SIS will continue to have an excellent working relationship with Southampton Football Club and the loyal Saints fans, with a number of players and management, both past and present, remaining clients.

Southampton Insurance Services has strong and competitive contacts in the sports insurance arena being able to cater for both personal and commercial insurance, including hard to place sports related risks such as concerts at sports stadiums.

Phil Shephard said of the deal "having helped set up SIS over 13 years ago and completing a management buyout more recently, it became apparent that we needed the support of a larger company to continue our growth plans.  Bridle were the natural and perfect fit for us and all concerned are very excited about the prospect of driving the business forward."
